Smiles All Around!

Cruz is smiling a ton!  I've even been able to catch a few on camera!
 Stud Muffins!

 (work out clothes...it has begun)

How many times do you think a parent uses the word "Don't!"?

I never thought I would need to say the words, "Don't paint the gecko!"
I walked outside for a few minutes on the phone with Grandma Bryson and came back to this mess...I needed to mop anyway...

Origami Baby

Tyler figured out how to make an origami crown.
He decided it was very fitting for King Cruz!

Bigger is better

Have you ever been in a tire that is bigger that a car?  Me neither...but these guys have!

And here is a picture of the infamous dog: Turbo
He is a Belgium Shepherd.

Dancing Queen(s)

The big dance recital.
(killing time before it starts)
Kaili was fabulous in 3 different dances; Ballet, Jaz and Tap!

Sina did great in her Baby Ballet dance!
They had super fancy and cute costumes!!
Sina and Tyler decided they needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the recital (of course!) so I had to take them.  When Sina was finished, she shot out of the bathroom and headed back.  I waited around for Tyler because he is always complaining that I don't wait for him.  After about 5 minutes of waiting, I stuck my head in the men's bathroom and called for him.  No answer.

That little punk left me!

I went back, steaming...I had missed Kaili's ballet performance (from which I heard she did awesome), and went complaining to Brad.  A few minutes later, I asked where Sina was.  Brad said, "I don't know, I thought she was with you?!"  Oh no!   I lost Sina!  I spent the rest of the recital looking for her.

Turned out, somehow, she got backstage and come out with the group at the end of the recital.  Someone must have seen her and taken her back there...ugg!  I missed the whole thing (practically).  At least they looked good.

Too bad little kids can't hold their pee!

One more to go...

And for the close of birthday week...we take you to Tyler's favorite place...Genki Sushi...talk about one excited 9 year old!
Kaili was at Spy camp this week, so it was just these two hoodlums (and the baby, of course.  But does he actually count as a body yet?  I'm not sure...)
We also got a few birthday gifts for them...these included a longboard, a penny board, and a puppy.  Yup, a puppy.  (What am I thinking?!?!  I'm such a sucker for cute little things...or maybe just a sucker!)
And this brings us to the close of birthday week!

iPad Junkies

Sina loves her iPad and insists that the baby loves it too!
 She's probably right!

Photographer of the Year

Tyler loves playing with my camera...here are a few of his most recent shots

Darling!

Piano Man

Tyler had  a piano recital today and totally ROCKED IT!!

He. Is. Awesome.
(JLynn even says so! She says he is so talented and she wishes all of her piano students could be as awesome and talented as Tyler!)

Birthday Week...4, 7, and 9!

It was a busy month! I kind of passed over it completely....too bad we have birthday week in May.      We celebrated Kaili and Sina together, a few days after the actual events...and I didn't even have gifts for them (Oops and awesome at the same time!  Like they need anything else, and they didn't even notice anyway!)  Tyler made them cupcakes and Brad took them all to the arcade...good enough apparently!!

Sina's request: ice cream with candles!

 Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday to Kaili and Sina....
Happy Birthday to you!!

Relaxin'

Girl's Day

Birthday week is in session!  We decided to have a girl's day and celebrate (Tyler was at cub scout day camp)!  Down to the fountains at The Shops.

What a beauty!  Can't believe she is turning 7!
And our spunky little 4 year old!  Time flies!

Pickle Pack Night

Tyler completed all of his goals and received his badges for bobcat and wolf along with a gold arrow and 2 silver arrows!  Yeah!  Now we have something to actually put on his shirt :-)

After the award ceremony at the Pickle Pack Night, the boys were invited to do some sauce art.  Yum! Tyler's Masterpiece:

Sweetness!

I read somewhere that you should take newborn pictures within the first 2 weeks.  That way, they are still sleeping so much, and you can pretty much mold them however you want.

Oops...missed that window.  But 3 is close to 2...he still looks like a newborn (even though he is becoming a giant!)

Photo Opp...again

Anytime someone is sitting with the baby, they want to be documented in the archives...so, here we go!

3 Weeks

Here is a pillow picture, taken at 3 weeks.

Such a fun new play thing!

We sure can't get enough of this little guy!

Little Mamma

Kaili thinks she is pretty awesome cause she can hold the baby like me :-)

Cub Scouts are good for something!

Tyler had a few things to finish for his wolf badge next week.  One was to make dinner for the family.  I asked him what he wanted to make and he said, "Sushi!!"

Hmmm...something I don't know how to do...

So what did I do?  Call up a friend and have him teach my kid how to make sushi :-)

Malufs came over and Mike taught Tyler the art of the Sushi Roll!

Tyler was only about to eat about 8 rolls!

 Success!
