One Last Hurrah

Just when a Saturday comes along and I think I can get some good work done around the house...I remember we have something more important, and more importantly... more fun to do! So instead of mowing the grass and cleaning out the sewing room...we headed to the beach for a rugby end-of-season party!

And...for my Mom's utter enjoyment...a picture of me and my big self.  Today I am 37 weeks (only 3 more to go!  Yeah!) Note: I look huge because I have gained a mere 47 pounds :-)

Eggs-cellent

I tried cooking my eggs in the stove this time...something I saw on FB...didn't work.  The eggs all got mostly cooked, but I'm sorry, who wants to eat a mostly cooked egg...not anyone in my family!

At least semi-hard eggs are still good for something!

EASTER

After what seemed like eons, they finally found their baskets!  I couldn't believe it took so long...there are only so many places you can fit one of those things!

Easter dresses.  Heading over to Buddy's for some Easter fun and games (thank goodness he had an Easter egg hunt, otherwise I might have been labeled as a lame mom this year!)

They might have a future in this business

You know you can always count on friends to help you do important jobs, like make new islands in your backyard!
Almost to China...almost...

Finished product. Anybody else need any landscaping done?

My Cute Kid

Perhaps I'm Bias...:-)

Another Day, Another Dance

It seems as though we spend an awful lot of time watching these little ballerinas!  Good thing they're cute!
Brad even took a break from his machines!
Easter Dance

Tyler is (mostly) a good sport.  I just have to remind him about all the time I sit around waiting for his art/Japanese/rugby/whatever else he is up to classes :-)

Who knew the bank could be so fun?

Thank goodness for the nice rocking chair sitting in the corner at the bank to keep some little munchkins busy while I wait in line :-)

Champions

We went to Tyler's last rugby game and the weather did not cooperate with us.  I forgot the iPads and 20 minutes after we got there, the girls were asking if it was over already...ummm, no.  We'll be here for another 3 or 4 hours.  Sorry :-)
At least they were cute for a few pictures :-)

The kids played about 6 games!  I think they won all of them.  They were soaking wet and freezing to the bone by the end of the day!  Brad stopped by and saw one of the games and more importantly, brought us some much appreciated hot chocolate!  Tyler did really well!  He scored a handful of tris!
When they played the Pre-Championship game, Waimea Rugby Club U10 A Team Won!  But because of bad reffing and unfair score-keeping, Hilo's rugby team advanced.  Boo!  Oh well.  It meant we got to go home earlier and take a very needed hot bath!

Zombie - fied

A picture is worth 1000 words...

School Days

We took school pictures back in October (I think)...here they are... finally!

And since Sina is so cute, Danni took some super cute pictures of her too :-)

Roll those Rolls

The best thing about home school is that we get to have a field trip whenever we feel like :-)

This week we headed down south to the Kona Historical Society.  We learned about how they did things back in "the old days".  One thing we got to do is roll out Portuguese Sweet Bread.  They let people help roll and then bake it in a rock stove.

Kids thought they were pretty special rolling out the dough!  We got to take home some yummy bread at the end of our trip.  I thought about my dad as we were loading up in our car (he's kind of a major germ-a-phobe)...the bread we went home with was most likely NOT the bread the kids rolled out.  We just got the bag they handed us.  Who knows where the hands that rolled our dough had been...but even more concerning might have been the thought of who ended up with our kid-rolled bread!? :-)
And talk about lucky!  Tyler looked in the grass for about 30 seconds and found a four-leaf clover!

Killing Time

Under The Bleachers

Since I'm almost 8 months pregnant...we decided to go camping again!

Oh what a beautiful morning!  Oh what a beautiful day! We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful and fun place!!  Having some fun jumping off the pier!

My attempt at video-photography :-)

We love Milolii!  We had a great time camping!  Missed Brad...but enjoyed all the rest of the fun that comes with camping!  Wasn't hard for me at all...I mean really...what do you do when you camp?  You sit around and eat a ton of junk!  I can do that with my eyes closed and one hand tied behind my back! :-)
