Birds are coming out of our ears!

The day after the banana incident, Brad brought the kids home with this Little Guy...another baby bird!
The winds must have had at his nest too.  They found him hanging out in the middle of the road.
So, of course, they "saved" him.
The downer of rescuing birds is that we don't really know how to rescue them.  We could only get Little Guy to drink from the water lid.  And we all know...Man cannot live on bread alone...well, apparently, birds cannot live on water alone.
* Little Guy lasted about 3 days.

Birds and Monkeys

Ripe bananas in the yard mean bananas for breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner, bread and the freezer!

But wait!  What did the kids find in this bunch of bananas...a baby :-)

Everyone wants to take a look!

We saved the top layer of bananas on the tree to help the little bird nest stay up in the tree...then the next day we had 50 mile an hour winds.  Needless to say, the nest was on the ground and the bird was no where to be found.  The dog may have had more than bananas (which he actually loves to steal from us) for a snack that day....

The Whale on the Hill

Took a trip to Pu'u Kohala to visit King Kamehameha's spot.

Hiked around and saw the temple, Black-Tipped Reef Sharks, plants that have a yellow dye...Then we headed to the beach!

Another Day, Another Dollar...

If  you happen across Brad's job site, you are likely to see this...
 Dump Trucks

Excavators
And kids popping out of equipment larger than my house!!

Tyler has become the most well paid 8 year old in the world, and he's definitely not doing chores around the house for quarters!  Brad has taught his prodigy well.

In case you were wondering...YES that is Tyler driving that thing!!!!  The guys at the jobsite call him "The Zen Master".

All in a days work...

The Bowl Isn't Big Enough!

Who has time for ice cream after a Rugby game?  Us!

Brad even took the day off to come join us!!!

A Needed Item

For Christmas, Santa brought Brad a BBQ...what a thoughtfull guy!

Tyler and Brad decided to assemble all 290 parts a few weeks later :-)
Yum, Yum, Yum!

R.U.G.B.Y.

Since the holidays are over, it's time to fill our lives with some other sort of busy-ness...so we've found our old time favorite:  RUGBY!
Check out #2...he's pretty fast!
And, of course, the spectators are happy to be in the sun, too!
Scoring a tri!

Better Late Than Never

Here are my thank you pictures, taken days after Christmas, for Nana (my Grandma).  We went shopping and the kids all picked out treasures!  Sina LOVES her new stroller!
Tyler LOVES his new Hex Bug set
And Kaili got an awesome Princess Art Set.  For some reason, I can't find her picture....but she was very adept at spending her Christmas money too!

So Thanks Nana!  (and sorry it took us sooo long to tell you so!)

Breaking Out the Christmas Toys

Friends are always a great excuse to get cool things out and make yourself look awesome (Oh, is that just me?!)

Fun foam stuff.  The package did not let us know it was a one-time-use product...oh well, fun for the hour it was out!

It's that time again!

Well, since we are in the third month of the year, I have decided to finally download all of my pictures and start sharing it with the world again!

So watch out...here it comes again...the life of us!
