I started out the day by not going to bed until the sun was coming up. Gotta clean the house for the rabbit, get baskets made, and sew two super cute Easter dresses for the girls (which I didn't get any pictures of them in...maybe I'll edit this in a few days when the dresses are clean again...)
So, after a whole hour of sleep (yes, this was a righteous sacrifice, President Uchtdorf!), I was lovingly rolled out of bed. Easter baskets were found in various places, including: under the bed (I thought that would have been the hardest one, but it was discovered first!), under a small table, and in the (clean) garbage can...although, Brad did have a banana ;-) Peeps and banana peel aren't so bad together.
Discovered Kaili doesn't like candy. Not chocolate, not fruity, not sour, not Reeses. What does she enjoy? Doughnuts...I'll have to remember that for the next holiday...
What a better way to recognize Christ's eternal sacrifice for all human kind, than with a jelly bean squirt gun (which, by the way, was filled with water and squirted all over my house the next morning as I caught up on my much needed sleep...jelly beans and water = sticky, messy, yucky liquid that I had to wipe everything down with...thank you Tyler!)
Brad was able to go for his run before the kids got up, allowing himself to gorge on all the yummy stuff the Easter Bunny brought us! I skipped the run, but joined in the gorging!
And, poor Sina, she missed the picture opp...but she did look really cute in her dress!
