Da Birds

Brad keeps bringing the kids home with new pets.  This week's model are these birds. 

Kids are loving them...of course!  Here is there lovely make-shift house.

*These birds have since been....disappeared.  One was eaten by our lovely [death-to-all-small-living-creatures] dog, and the other flew the coup after it's wings healed from being clipped (apparently you have to continue doing that or they learn to fly again).

Brad has brought home several more birds since and these ones were by far the best!  They just hung out on their cage.  Yes, ON.  There was a hole in the basket thing and they would climb out and sit on top, or travel around, until they were scared enough to run back to the safety of the laundry basket.

But the free life has it's risks, hence, death-by-dog, and escape into the unknown...
