Will you have a leg next week?

Sooo, remember a few days ago when Brad wasn't able to make it to Kaili's dance performance because the thing blew up in his face?  Well apparently, that was not the only problem of the day...

A few days after "the explosion", Brad showed me this.  He said it was either the wasps that stung him or maybe a Brown Recluse bit him.  Hmmm.

Now, he said the wasps definitely stung or bit him because he was moving dirt and ran over a hand full of them that attacked.  He knew he knocked off at lease 2 from his leg.  But the spider thing was not for sure.  He thought maybe one was hiding in the wood or rebar he was moving and that a spider had crawled up his shorts and bit him.

A few weeks ago, my mom sent us an email explaining what a Brown Recluse looks like and what happens to you if it bites you:

I showed Brad and the kids the email and ever since then, every spider the kids come across is most definitely a Brown Recluse and we're all going to die!  The images must have stuck with Brad too because he was fairly certain his leg wound and the spider pictures were very similar.  We spent a good portion of the evening Googling. 

In the end, we decided it was just the wasps.
