Field Trip!

 The boat HOKULE'A invited us on board! 

This is a modern boat built like an old Hawaiian ship. 

Built out of wood and rope, no electronics, no motor.  A wind propelled boat that travels all over!

We learned about some of the places Hokule'a has traveled (Japan, Fiji, New Zealand...) and the plans it has to travel around the world!  This trip will take 4 years!!
