Onto China!

Grandpa Jay had to head out to CHINA today for a business trip.

Sand Dunes

Went to the beach again!  This time to Newport!  We decided to look for some tide pools and found this beach:

It was windy!

It was obviously windy...a lot!  The entire beach was made out of sand dunes.

I sat down in one of these sand dunes with my camera in my back pocket.  Found out that dust proof and sand proof are not the same thing...spent the next few days blowing sand out of my camera...Thankfully, my junk camera is still living, maybe on it's last leg, but it works (kind of).

We're just LION around!

What's a trip to Oregon without a visit to the Zoo!

Brown Bear, Brown Bear...

And since there was a line a mile long for these silly monkey rope things, everyone wanted their own pictures...

And of course they all had to be in the perfect position, which took a good minute or two to get adjusted to...

At least they all looked awesome in their monkey shots!

An Apple A Day...

The one thing Tyler really wanted to do while we were in Oregon was go berry picking...but it just so happened that the berry farms all closed up their doors the week we got there...Oh well...we found some other great farms to play at...

The apple farm was great fun!

This was the coolest park I've ever seen!  And probably the most expensive...A park made out of a Combine Tractor!

These girls are just too cute for words!

The Walk

Heading to the beach to catch the end of the Portland to Coast Race that Mom and Janelle did together!  Tyler got the seat in the back...I'm pretty sure he had room to sit :-)

We made our way to the Tillamook Cheese Factory and met up with Jessie!  Our favorite was the squeaky cheese!  Yum!  And the ice cream...of course!!

We couldn't go to the coast without going TO the beach!  Even though it was FREEZING!  Brrr!

The kids had fun playing in the river...of which we later notice the warning sign reading something about water runoff being sewage and having animal feces in it....oh well

We ended our beach trip with the Portland to Coast fireworks...and more sand!
